Look at our loot!

My Mother-In-Law works for Proctor and Gamble and every year they get gift boxes for Christmas filled with all of their products. Being the kind person that she is, she shares her gifts with us and we love it! These are all the items we got in our gift box this year which is only about 1/3 of what she was given. Isn't that amazing? There is so much!

There are so many good products here that people use every single day. I think this is great because it not only is a responsible gift for their employees but it supports the use of their own products as well.

I can't wait to try out my new swiffer wet jet!

I learn something every day.....

My husband and I read somewhere that to help your kids during potty training you can try to "potty train" one of their stuffed animals. We both agreed this would be a good technique for us since Caiden carries around "Bunny" everywhere he goes. Well, tonight I decided to put a diaper on Bunny and let him know that when he needed to go potty he should let me know and I would take him to the bathroom. This idea worked great for a while! Caiden thought it was hilarious that Bunny had a diaper on so he decided he needed pajamas on too. Before I knew it Bunny was dressed in pjs and a ball cap and was hanging out with us just like a human. Everything sounds great right? Wrong. What I didn't think about was the fact that Bunny might tell Caiden he had to go potty instead of me. I found this out when I heard Caiden take him into the bathroom and shove him in the toilet. As if this wasn't bad enough it was right at 7:30 and Caiden's bed time is 8:00. I managed to give Bunny a good sponge bath with woolite then a power fluff in the dryer and he came out good as new. Whew, thank goodness! I don't know what we would do without Bunny.

I love the fall, everything about it. The trees with their colorful leaves, the temperature before it gets blistering cold and the overall feeling in the air. I don't know if people are getting excited about the holidays or if this is just generally a happy time of year. Either way I look forward to it and couldn't resist the chance to get Caiden out in the yard playing in the leaves. We didn't have much time since we were on our way out the door but it was definitely worth the few minutes we had.

Fun with Cooper and Sadie

A few weeks ago Caiden and I met up with a high school friend of mine and her kids, Cooper and Sadie. Cooper is 3 and Sadie is about 9 months. While the boys had fun, well, just being boys, Sadie was as happy as she could be lounging in her swing taking it all in. The kids had a great time playing and Lindsey and I had a good visit. Thanks for having us over guys! We hope to get together again soon!

Long Time- No Blog

So who cares if it is the middle of November and I am just now posting about Halloween? It was your typical Halloween but with, dare I say, warm weather?! Wow, I don't remember the last Halloween where it wasn't either freezing, raining or freezing rain. We decided that this year Caiden would be a monkey and it was very fitting. He loved hopping around in his costume as long as we didn't put up the hood part. One of his favorite parts of the holiday was helping me back Halloween cookies. I'm sure you can guess what his favorite part was.....eating them!

Advice

Anyone have any advice on what I am doing wrong with my blog photos? I have been having trouble lately which is why I haven't been posting (I don't like to post without pictures!)

Anyway, there are two ways to create a blog post that I know of- go through Picasa2 or go through blogspot. I am having troubles with both. When I go through blogspot the pictures just won't upload no matter how many I try. When I go through Picasa2 it shows my pictures while I am creating my post then as soon as I publish it they disappear. Anyone have the same problems with theirs? Help!

Loose Park

Here are some shots from Loose Park a couple of weekends ago. Caiden found this great tree for climbing so I had to get some pictures of it. He wasn't so sure about the actual climbing part but he was such a trooper through the whole thing. We brought a blanket and curled up under a tree after doing a lap around the outside of the park. We were going to head down to the pond but we realized we forgot the bread. Oh well, that is just a good reason to head back soon.
